Matt attended Central College in Pella, Iowa for his Athletic Training degree, and then attended the University of Northern Colorado for a Master's degree. Matt is passionate about the field of athletic training and especially enjoys the rehabilitation portion of the job and seeing athletes progress. His interest is biomechanics and enjoys implementing this into the rehabilitation process for his athletes. Kate attended Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO where she received a B.S. in Athletic Training. She was a student athletic trainer in high school, which is where she developed her passion for athletic training and helping others. Kate really enjoys the rehabilitation aspect of athletic training and the safe return to play of the athlete following an injury. Jenny graduated from North Dakota State University, in Fargo, ND, with a B.S. degree in Athletic Training, a B.S. degree in Exercise Physiology and minors in health education and nutrition. She has worked in a variety of different healthcare settings, and has found that her passion is working with high school athletes. Jenny believes the partnership between Children's Hospital Colorado and Adams 12 has thoroughly enhanced sports medicine for our student-athletes! Ben attended Mesa State College and received a B.S. in Athletic Training. He found his interest in athletic training during high school, following an athletic injury. Ben is intrigued by the on-the-field, quick decision making, as well as the rehab aspects of working in an athletic training room. Additionally, he enjoys being able to work in the clinic to see the back end of the treatment ATC's initiate in the high school setting. Clinical interests include evaluating and treating shoulder injuries. Ben loves the outdoors, playing music, and spending time with his growing family. Ruth Hart is originally from Grand Bay, AL and has been living in Colorado over a year. While playing collegiate softball, she earned her associate degree in Health and Physical Education at Faulkner State. Later Ruth transferred to the University of Alabama, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science for Athletic Training along with a minor in Nutrition in 2007. She is currently working on her Masters degree at Regis University. Ruth is passionate about the field of athletic training and teaching others the understanding of athletic training. Being a member of the National Athletic Training Association, American Heart Association Instructor and also Rocky Mountain Athletic Training Association keeps her up to date in the world of Athletic Training.
