$180 Million Bond - 41 Schools

• Repair and renew existing schools
  • Build additions to eliminate mobiles at several schools
  • Improve classrooms and interior space

  • Mechanical/electrical upgrades and repairs

• Replace existing schools
  • Coronado Hills Elementary
  • Replace Huron Middle School - increasing capacity by 400

• Increase high school graduation requirements from 20 to 23 credits
  • Increase math requirement from 2 to 3 credits

  • Increase fine/practical arts requirement from 2 to 3 credits

• Use tutoring, summer school and professional development for students not meeting grade level standards for reading and writing in grades 2-8
