National Career & Technical Education Month Proclamation

The Adams 12 Five Star School district is proud to offer quality CTE programs that provide essential life and career skills for all District 12 high school students. Our students learn that their goals may be achieved through self-discipline and by making wise decisions now.

Career and Technical Education programs motivate our students to get involved in their learning by engaging them in problem-solving activities that lead to them to apply their knowledge.

CTE programs within the Adams 12 Five Star Schools include:

  • Business/Marketing Education - Accounting, Advanced Computer Applications, Advanced Web Design Java Programming I, Business Communication, Business Internship Program, Business Law, Business Technology, Finance, International Marketing, Management / Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Mathematics of Money - Business Math, Media Productions, Microsoft Office Specialist Certification, Visual Basic and Web Design

We offer the highest quality of training

We appreciate and celebrate that quality training improves the lives of all of our students and their future. Funding is available through district Career & Technical funds and Perkins Local Basic Grant funds to support the professional development of Career and Technical educators. Professional development opportunities/events must align with curriculum objectives and district standards.
