District forced to cut budget third time in three years

Adams 12 Five Star Schools must cut $4.9 million from its operating budget for 2008-2009. Last year the district cut $4.7 million and in 2006-2007 it cut $6.2 million. That's nearly $16 million in total budget cuts which equates to about what it costs to operate six elementary schools for just one year.
