Q. What are the hours for enrolling my student?
A. Enrollment packets are accepted at the school level during regular office hours.
Q. Where can I get an enrollment packet?
A. The packets are available at schools and online (under forms).
Q. How long does it take to complete the process?
A. We recommend you complete the paperwork at home and make sure to gather all required documentation before going to the school. Actual time may vary depending on the time of year. Plan on at least 30 minutes at each school.
Q. How can I check to see what school my child will attend?

Q. Can I choose which school my child attends?
A. Adams 12 Five Star Schools offers a school of choice program through an application process. Please visit choice for more information.
Q. Does the district offer full day Kindergarten programs?
A. Yes! Please go to kindergarten for additional kindergarten program information.
Q. Does the district offer a preschool program?
A. Yes! Please visit preschool for full information on the program requirements or call 720-972-8761. Enrollment is handled at the Early Childhood Center offices.
Q. What are the immunization requirements?
A. These are governed by state law and can be found on our enrollment forms page.
Q. Where can I go to obtain the immunization record required for my child?
A. Immunization records can be obtained through your health care provider, the clinic where they received the vaccinations, or from the previous school your child attended.
Q. If I am buying a new home in the district, may I enroll my child before I move?
A. Yes! Parents will need to provide a purchase contract with a possession or closing date no more than 90 days out as proof of residency.
Q. How do I enroll my child in a specialized program, such as Hulstrom Options, STEM Lab, STEM Launch, The Studio School, International Baccalaureate: Primary Years and Middle Years Program, SOAR, L2K, Mandarin Chinese or Charter Schools?
A. Admission for schools with specialized programs that are school-wide is managed via the District's Schools of Choice Program. If you wish for your child to attend Hulstrom, either STEM program, The Studio School or one of our school-wide IB schools (Coronado Hills, McElwain, Thornton Elementary, Leroy Drive Elementary, Thornton Middle or Thornton High) you will need to apply via the Schools of Choice Program.
Admission for programs that are not school wide like Century Middle School's Middle Years Program, Horizon's SOAR, Legacy's L2K Program & Mandarin Chinese at Mountain Range is managed by each individual school. Please contact them directly for more information.
