New Employee Orientation Information

The first part of orientation will consist of reviewing hiring payroll forms and reviewing school district policies and procedures.
Certified orientations are held at the below address in one of the training rooms and are approximately 3 hours:

Certified Orientation Checklist / New Hire (Teachers)
Please complete all items on this checklist prior to your orientation session. Note: Certified Substitute employees are not required to fill out these hiring payroll forms and are not required to bring in identification. Most of these forms are form filled forms. Please contact Human Resources if you have questions regarding the hiring payroll forms.
Download, complete, and bring each of the following forms to orientation (each form must be completed prior to your orientation session):

If you have had previous experience or service (District 12 will accept up to 10 years), download the Verification of Experience form and mail it to your previous employers. Here is a list of district verification and salary placement guidelines.

If you currently applied for a Colorado Teaching License and it is in process, please download this form and return it along with your hiring payroll forms.
Human Resources needs official transcripts for your degree(s) and any additional hours beyond your degree(s). Only official transcripts will be used to calculate your salary (copies will not be used to calculate salary). If you have not sent Human Resources your official transcripts, please send them to:

New Hires Only - Identification is required at an orientation session. Your IDs will verify your eligibility to work. Please click here to see a list of acceptable forms of identification. Some of the most common documents are listed below:
Combination 1: Unexpired Passport (no other documents are needed with a passport)
Combination 2: Driver's License (or State ID Card) and Social Security Card
Combination 3: Driver's License (or State ID Card) and Birth Certificate
