Grants support new PTECH program

Level 3 Communications has generously granted money to the Adams 12 Five Star District. The following grants were approved through the "Level 3 Gives" grants program to specifically support the Pathways in Technology Early College High School (PTECH) program:

  • Five Star Education Foundation - $1000
  • EC@N-STEM – Northglenn High School - $2500
  • Adams 12 School District - $1000
  • Front Range Community College - $1000
  • STEM Launch School - $4000

About PTECH

With the support of industry partner Level 3 Communications and higher education partner Front Range Community College, the PTECH program will offer a high school diploma, an Associate in Applied Science degree (AAS) in Computer Information Systems and relevant work experience. The PTECH program is the first of its kind in metro Denver and will feature 65 incoming ninth-graders.
