Five Star District receives $20,000 Healthy Schools Grant

Adams 12 Five Star Schools has received a $20,000 grant from the Colorado Legacy Foundation to support district-wide health and wellness initiatives. The grant will be used to start a Golden Sneaker Award Program to recognize schools across the district that are making strides to create a healthier environment at school. The grant will provide financial support for wellness programs at school, provide a great way to share success stories across the district, and it will give schools new ideas for improving the health of students and staff.
