Five Star District celebrates Classified School Employees Week

The Adams 12 Five Star Schools Board of Education has proclaimed Oct. 7 - 13 as Classified School Employee Week.

The district's classified employees include school and district office staff, school lunch staff, paraeducators, maintenance employees and bus drivers to name a few.

Classified employees are essential in supporting the district's mission to engage and inspire all students to innovate, achieve and succeed in a safe and supportive environment by ensuring high quality instruction in every classroom, every day.

The board of education passed the following proclamation in honor of the district's support staff:

PROCLAMATION
CLASSIFIED SCHOOL EMPLOYEES WEEK
OCTOBER 7 - 13, 2012

WHEREAS, Adams 12 Five Star Schools classified employees are an essential part of this districts’ education system in educating the whole child; and

WHEREAS, classified employees are dedicated to assisting in the success for each student through quality education; and

WHEREAS, the classified employees who are dedicated in maintaining and supporting our district’s value through a shared responsibility, by creating a safe, orderly and supportive environment.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Adams 12 Five Star Schools salutes our classified staff for the invaluable services they provide to our students, staff, and community. We, the Board of Education recognize that the goals of our strategic plan are achieved with the support of our classified employees.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of Adams 12 Five Star Schools proclaims October 7 - 13, 2012 Classified School Employees Week.
