If you have a child entering kindergarten for the 2013-2014 school year, get a jump start on planning for next year by attending the district's last "Countdown to Kindergarten" resource fair scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 6-8 p.m. (dinner will be served) at The International School at Thornton Middle, 9451 Hoffman Way in Thornton.
Parents will have the opportunity to learn about readiness and learning expectations for kindergartners, Choice options, enrollment and much more. Representatives from the Choice office; Transportation; Before, After School and Summer Enrichment (BASE); Nutrition Services; and the various departments within Learning Services will be available for parents to learn more about these services and ask questions.
