Cost: $180 per class (In-District); $250 per class (Out of District)
Pre-Registration: High School students may pre-register through their high school counselor. All registrations submitted by May 3, 2012 will be given a $10 discount. Payment, transcript, and forms must be submitted together to the bookkeeper’s office.

Walk in Registration (Northglenn High School): Thursday, June 7, 2012: 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Information will be available on the Summer School Hotline at 720-972-4172 or www.adams12.org beginning April 1.
Discipline/Behavioral Issues: If a student has any discipline issues resulting in a suspension, the student will be withdrawn from the Summer School program. Absolutely no refunds will be given.
Transportation: School bus transportation is available from all district middle schools (except Niver Creek Middle School) for a fee of $45/session. Please include transportation fee with tuition payment if applicable. All transportation fees are non-refundable.
NOTE: Transportation is ONLY provided from district middle schools (excluding Niver Creek Middle School). If school bus transportation is needed, parent/guardian is responsible for transportation to and from middle school sites.

MIDDLE SCHOOL REMEDIAL SUMMER SCHOOL INFORMATION (Grades 6-8)

Middle School classes are held both sessions. Students MUST attend all 20 days.

Tuition Information: District 12 Middle school students may take up to 3 classes. Tuition is $125 for 1 class, $200 for 2 classes and $275 for 3 classes. A District 12 student is defined as having attended a District 12 school during the 2011-2012 school year. If a student lives in the District 12 attendance area but does not attend a District 12 school, the student is considered an Out of District student. Out of District Middle School tuition is $200 for 1 class, $275 for 2 classes, and $350 for 3 classes (pending space availability). A $50 non-refundable processing fee will be charged for classes dropped for all students. NO refunds will be given after June 14, 2012. Students will not be enrolled in any classes until tuition has been paid in full and all registration paperwork has been completed and submitted. Registration fees may be paid using cash, check, or money order at the time of registration. All checks should be made to Adams 12 Schools.

Grading/Credit Information: All middle school classes will be PASS or UNPASS. Students must earn at least a 70% to earn a PASS. Students who are unsuccessful in summer school classes will be referred to their home school to determine if the student shall be retained or will be promoted to the next grade. Please contact your student’s home school for questions regarding retention.
Summer School Attendance Policy: The summer school day contains 3 “periods”. Any tardiness (up to 10 minutes) or absence from a period will be noted. Once a student reaches 3 class periods with a tardy or absence, the parent and student will be notified. Upon the 4th class period with a tardy or absence, the student will be withdrawn for the course with an UNPASS and NO refund will be given. In extreme situations, students may make up time for up to 2 class periods. Make up time will only be accepted with prior administrative approval, and court or doctor documentation. No class time make up will be allowed for athletic practice, family vacation, camps, weddings, etc. All absences must be reported to the summer school office (720) 972-4172 by 10:00 am the day of the absence.
Walk-In Registration: Look for the SUMMER SCHOOL signs - DO NOT attempt to register at the Northglenn HS Main Office.
