Safety
Security Services
Security Services protects district property through the patrolling of district facilities. This ensures our schools are ready for learning every morning when our students arrive. Through crisis planning, training and response, Security Services assists in providing a safe and secure learning environment for students and staff in all of our schools. The department also includes the Five Star District's Communications Center, which is staffed 24-hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The Communications Center monitors all fire, life and safety systems throughout the district, as well as, provides communications to key personnel during times of crisis. Anyone needing to talk to a live person after hours or on weekends can contact the Adams 12 Five Star Schools Communications Center at 720-972-4911.
