Student Learning

Learning Services

The purpose of Learning Services is to partner with educators to cultivate students who are critical thinkers, innovators, communicators, and have a global awareness and moral capacity to solve any problem, anywhere. Our classrooms and adult learning enviroments are learner-centered, rigorous, relevant, and offer opportunities to learn with and from one another.
Our educators embrace an entrepreneurial spirit of intelligent risk taking, innovation, collaboration, and flexibility of thought to improve student outcomes. Our educators understand that their innovation may fail; however, their willingness to learn from failure will create an even greater opportunity for our students. We create a culture of high expectations and experimentation that increases teacher effectiveness and student learning.
We commit to creating possibilities, not barriers, by listening to each other and participating in purposeful collaboration centered on student learning and support. It is our collective responsibility to improve the academic trajectory of our students' lives. We hold ourselves and each other accountable for student learning and growth.
