Utility work dominates early construction of FutureForward at Washington Square campus

There's plenty of work happening at the construction site for the district's new FutureForward at Washington Square campus in Thornton.

But most of the work happening now can be easily missed by the average site passerby and it will also ultimately be invisible to students and staff who will call the new career and technical education campus home.

Construction remains on schedule despite cold, wet weather

Construction moved forward on the FutureForward at Washington Square construction site in February despite a prolonged spate of cold weather and moisture.

Work on concrete slab pours as well as the installation of the building roof were both slowed down in February but construction of the building remained on schedule to open for the 2020-2021 school year.
