Planning well under way for Summer 2019 bond projects

Planning is reaching the final stages on more than 30 construction and improvement projects planned for Summer 2019 as part of the ongoing 2016 Bond Program.

Projects range from new construction such as the start of work on a new district Career and Technical Education Center to ongoing projects, including the completion of a two-year renovation of STEM Lab in Northglenn and larger second phases of work at Horizon and Northglenn high schools, as well as renovation and repair projects at more than 20 schools and facilities.

Construction remains on schedule despite cold, wet weather

Construction moved forward on the FutureForward at Washington Square construction site in February despite a prolonged spate of cold weather and moisture.

Work on concrete slab pours as well as the installation of the building roof were both slowed down in February but construction of the building remained on schedule to open for the 2020-2021 school year.
