STEM Lab construction pushes into final spring of work

The completion of the two-year renovation and reconstruction of STEM Lab in Northglenn remains on schedule for an August 2019 completion.

March progress included the completion of exterior brick work on the building's new 25,000-square-foot expansion and the installation of most of the building's new windows. Inside the building, interior framing continued. The new wing will be home to the school's new administrative area, library and middle school classrooms.

Spring break provides window for bond work to begin at some schools

Empty schools are a welcome sight for general contractors itching to get a jump start on Summer 2019 bond work.

So spring break in Adams 12 Five Star Schools came at a perfect time for a handful of schools where contractors have a laundry list of construction tasks to accomplish over the next several months.

Construction remains on schedule despite cold, wet weather

Construction moved forward on the FutureForward at Washington Square construction site in February despite a prolonged spate of cold weather and moisture.

Work on concrete slab pours as well as the installation of the building roof were both slowed down in February but construction of the building remained on schedule to open for the 2020-2021 school year.
