Steel in place for second phase of STEM Lab addition

In construction projects, time is always of the essence with progress routinely measured in incremental timelines of days, months and, in some cases, years.

For the ongoing STEM Lab project, there are deadlines looming both near and far. On the not-too-distant horizon is the fact that it is now roughly nine months until the completed Northglenn magnet school is expected to welcome students to a completely renovated campus. And, while that ultimate deadline drives all other progress, it is a more pressing seasonal mandate that is pushing construction work forward right now.

Community approves Ballot Issue 5C

Thanks to the support of the Adams 12 Five Star Schools community, Ballot Issue 5C was passing with 55.66 percent voter approval, according to unofficial election results posted in early November.

Ballot Issue 5C, a mill levy override that will generate $27 million in new, recurring revenue, will allow the district to jump-start the priorities outlined in its strategic plan ELEVATE that parents, students, staff and community members worked together to create during a year-long process.
