Construction - Here we go! With the planning and design phase complete, construction is underway at your school to accomplish the individual projects of your school's investment plan.

Latest Updates

Bond improvement work at Centennial Elementary is taking place in Summer 2019. 

Work includes:

  • Cameras on the exterior of building and interior of building
  • Keyless entry for all employees to quickly gain access to the building
  • New secured main entry vestibule
  • Permanent walls between classrooms for safety and to reduce noise distractions
  • A brand new playground, grass area for students to play, and new blacktop
  • Additional parking in the parking lot and new stairs coming down to the school that are safer for students and families upon arrival and dismissal
  • Many upgrades in specials classrooms including a newly updated art room and library

  • Upgrade electrical distribution panels for increased capacity
  • Install electronic card access to promote a safe and secure building
  • Upgrade school intercom system to meet safety requirements
  • Install digital security camera system

Capacity / Overcrowding

  • Build a new school in the Anthem neighborhood to address community growth and prevent future overcrowding *Population Relief
     

Renovations & Remodels

  • Remodel priority items, such as ceilings, walls, floors, windows, doors, painting upgrades, paving restoration, lunch rooms, classrooms and bathrooms *Significant Renovation
  • Repair or replace specials (music, art, gym) program components such as wall panels, ceiling tiles, flooring and program specific equipment

Instructional Upgrades

  • Each school is provided with funding for instructional upgrades that will be determined through a collaborative process with the school and community. Categories can include furniture, technology, space modifications, safety & security upgrades and specials/electives.
