MAP
The district interim assessment provides more timely data to gauge the effectiveness of the curriculum, programs and interventions. The assessment helps to:
- Inform improvement planning
- Determine the progress students have made toward established benchmarks for achievement and growth
- Provide actionable data for teacher planning and instruction, to a limited degree.
NWEA MAP is the current district interim assessment. The test is given to students two or three times per year in grades 1-9 and covers reading and math.
