mClass DIBELS 8 assessment is a state approved K-3 early literacy assessment in accordance with the Reading to Ensure Academic Development (READ) Act passed by the Colorado Legislature in 2012.
Per the READ act, the mClass DIBELS 8 assessments assist in the identification of students with significant reading deficiencies. Students with significant reading deficiencies are given READ plans that will help their instruction and learning be focused and timely enough to dissolve the reading deficiency.
