Computer Science

Opening doors to unlimited possibilities and empowering students with the skills to innovate and thrive in our ever changing world.

Technology is changing every industry on the planet. Computer Science (CS) is an engaging and valuable subject that equips students with the knowledge and creative problem-solving skills essential for any future career. Computing occupations are the fastest-growing, best paying, and now the largest sector of all new wages in the US. But CS goes beyond just understanding technology; it's about developing a mindset to approach and resolve complex challenges creatively.

Our CS students have created an animatronic bird designed to greet visitors at a state welcoming center, designed a crawl space robot that can detect CO2 levels, temperature, and water for home owners and realtors, and more. Students who learn computer science can also use these skills in virtually any career -- from healthcare and finance to entertainment and education. By learning computer science, students are prepared to not only participate in a technologically driven world but also to lead and innovate within it, ensuring they are creators and contributors in any future they choose.
