Indian Education Events Schedule 2026: (1st semester only)
- August 25, 2026 - Pizza & Postsecondary Opportunities with Porfidia @ 6:00pm
- Come learn about the special HS programs available in Adams 12 that earn you credits and certificates for life after graduation
- September 19, 2026 - Teepee Raising Event @ Barr Lake
- Come learn how to put up a teepee and the cultural meaning attached to teepees and their parts. (Lunch will be served!)
- September 30 - Orange Shirt Day Gathering (5:30pm-8:00pm)
- Come hear a presentation on Indian Boarding schools from the perspective of the parents and make a special craft. (Dinner will be served!)
- October 3, 2026 - Lacrosse Workshop (10:00am - 2:00pm)
- Come learn the traditional Native history of lacrosse then learn some lacrosse skills! (Lunch will be provided!)
- November 13 - Native Youth Summit (9:00am-2:30pm)
- All Adams 12 Native American high school students gather with Native students from 7 other districts for a day of culture, connection and learning!
- December 12, 2026 - Shawl Making Workshop (2:00pm-5:00pm)
- Come make a shawl for yourself or as a gift for someone else! (This is in preparation for January’s fancy shawl dance classes!)
