High School Focus Programs

Adams 12 Five Star Schools offers a variety of choices for quality, advanced academic programming at each of its high schools. 

All incoming 9th graders who reside within the Five Star District boundaries are eligible to apply for any of the programs below, regardless of their attendance boundaries. Learn more about the focus programs at each high school below. 

High School of Business

Business, economics and global language

Accelerated college program that prepares students to be leaders and competitors in our 21st Century Workplace and in our global society.

Outcomes: 

Dual enrollment earning college credit (up to 21 credits).

Opportunity to earn college credits through AP coursework and exams.

JROTC

Motivate Young People to be Better Citizens

A blend of academics and hands-on exercises to promote leadership, teamwork, physical fitness, and “life skills.”

Legacy 2000

Development of STEM and communications skills

Program is an innovative partnership where students are able to earn a free associates degree in Computer Information Systems.

SOAR Honors

21st century leadership and civic engagement
