STEM

STEM programming uses science, technology, engineering and math to bring relevance to student work and make connections to society and the global world we live in.

Adams 12 Five Star Schools prioritizes STEM programming and is proud to offer diverse STEM options throughout the district.

Five Star STEM Schools

All students who attend a Five Star STEM School engage in STEM experiences across all classes, activities, and clubs. Learning is problem-based, career-focused, transdisciplinary, and rooted in an engineering design mindset. These are the three Five Star STEM schools in the district.

STEM Lab

K-8 students have opportunities to be problem solvers, risk takers, critical thinkers and innovators through real world problems.

STEM Launch

K-8 students are immersed in the problem-solving process and are able to test and redesign their ideas. 

Northglenn High School

All high school students have access to technology, Problem Based Learning, and student-centered inquiry classrooms. 

District STEM Programs

Students in a STEM program, need to apply and be accepted.

STEM is a priority across the Five Star District and most schools offer STEM opportunities for students.
