Construction on the new Thunder Vista P-8 in Broomfield steamed ahead in November as construction workers took advantage of unseasonably warm weather.

Kevin Harrison, site superintendent for Adolfson and Peterson Construction (AP), estimates the 142,000-square foot building is now about 35 to 40 percent complete. The majority of concrete slab pours inside the building are complete with the exception of the gym pour, which will take place in December.

District earns scholarship from Center for Green Schools

Adams 12 Five Star Schools has been chosen by The Center for Green Schools at the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) as one of only five districts nationally and the only district in the state of Colorado to receive a School District Scholarship for the 2017-2018 school year.
