In-district families who wish to attend their boundary school can simply follow the instructions for enrollment on the enrollment page.
In-district families who wish to attend a school other than their boundary school can apply for Choice during the specified timelines. In extenuating circumstances in-district students can request a change of school assignment through the family-initiated school transfer process.
Out-of-district families who wish to attend a school in the Five Star District can only apply for admissions via the Choice program. Family-initiated transfers are only available to in-district families.
The Planning Department maintains the boundary locator which provides school of attendance information for residences within the Five Star District.

International (Foreign) Exchange
The Admissions Office approves foreign exchange agencies allowing them to place students in our Five Star District high schools and provides support to foreign exchange counselors regarding district policies and procedures.
The Admissions Office provides support to Learning Services, schools and parents regarding kindergarten options in the district
The District Service Desk manages the Online Registration process. Online registration does not currently support enrollment by new students to Adams 12 Five Star Schools. Online Registration replaces the standard check-in process at schools for existing students. It enables a family to update or add emergency contacts or health information, sign off on mandatory forms, and receive class schedules before school starts.
Adams 12 Five Star Schools offers preschool to a limited number of CPP and Special Needs qualifying children. Admissions to the preschool program are managed directly by the Early Childhood Education Department.
Starting in the 2018-19 school year, a limited, tuition-based preschool option will also be available at Araphoe Ridge Elementary and Thunder Vista P-8. Admissions to the tuition-based preschool program will be managed by Arapahoe Ridge Elementary and Thunder Vista P-8.
Schools of Choice Program
The Admissions Office manages admissions to traditional district boundary schools for non-boundary students and to district magnet schools via the Choice process.
The Admissions Office serves as the superintendent’s designee in the family-initiated transfer process and can provide guidance and information about the transfer request process.
Elementary and middle school attendance boundaries have been announced for the new Thunder Vista P-8 school. The new school, scheduled to open in Fall 2018, is being built in the Anthem community of Broomfield.
