Overview

Student Engagement Initiatives is committed to removing the barriers that keep students from being engaged and thriving in school.  The department consists of directors, para-educators, coordinators, social workers, case managers, liaisons, counselors, and support staff collectively committed to professional practices that promote student learning.  We provide a variety of research based interventions and wrap-around services.

We believe that all students hold the strength and potential to thrive. We value integrity, self-care, growth and collaboration. Wrap-around services, when done well, help to create an atmosphere that promotes social-emotional and academic excellence in Adams 12 Five Star Schools.
