Refining the Tactics
Working through the community-determined focus areas, details and action items for each focus area were refined at the ELEVATE Summit in April 2018 and refined by district staff. In June 2018, the ELEVATE Core Team presented the refined tactics within each focus area to the Board of Education.

In its commitment to “move from steps to strides”, the Adams 12 Five Star Schools Board of Education prioritized a series of investments aligned to ELEVATE, the community’s new strategic plan for our schools. Thanks to the support of the Five Star community, Ballot Issue 5C was passed on November 6, 2018. The Ballot Issue represents a $27 million funding measure to jump-start priorities identified through ELEVATE. Read more about the prioritized investements.
During the 2017-2018 school year, over 7,000 parents, students, staff and community members from the Five Star community came together to create a new strategic plan that will continue to elevate student success for years to come.
