Schools of Choice Program
Adams 12 Five Star Schools has a home for all students.
You always have a place at your neighborhood school, but may choose to enroll your student in a school outside of your neighborhood school as long as there is sufficient programming, staff and space at the school.
First round of Choice open from Dec 1 to Jan 2

The first round of choice has been condensed. Open from December 1 through January 2
- All applications received are considered together in the same random lottery

This condensed window allows families to find out if they've received their first choice sooner
- All families are notified the 1st week of February and must accept their school placement within 5 days of receiving the letter

Families wishing to enroll in a Five Star District school for the next school year should apply during the first round of Choice for priority consideration. All applications, that are received by the Jan. 2 deadline, are included in a random lottery for available spaces. Process is not-first come, first-served.
