Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that cause respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough and shortness of breath. Similar to the flu, these viruses spread through coughing or sneezing.

Adams 12 Five Star Schools works closely with state and local health partners to monitor Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). Our local and state health partners, include the Tri-County Health Department, Broomfield Public Health and Environment and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). The school district has a Pandemic Incident Response Plan to support the health and safety of our students, staff and community, and to minimize any impact to learning in our schools.  For the most up-to-date information please see the Adams 12 Onward Plan for 2020-2021(Español)
