Certified/Licensed Employees

Update:  On Wednesday, June 19, 2019 the Adams 12 Board of Education approved a new licensed salary schedule and changes to the Certified Master Agreement regarding salary placement for new hires and a step increase for current employees.

Here is a summary of the changes that were approved:

  • Schedule A for certified employees hired prior to 2007 will be eliminated and all employees will be placed at their same education level and step on the new certified/licensed salary schedule (see below).
  • Approval of a step increase for certified employees who begun certified employment on or before January 7, 2019.
  • New certified hires will be allowed to submit up to 10 years of verified previous experience for step placement.  The maximum step placement is Step 11.

Current certified employees will see the changes to their salary, including a step increase for eligible certified employees, effective September 1, 2019.  Salary notifications will be sent to each current certified employee via email in September that reflects the approved changes.

Newly hired certified employees will receive updated New Hire Salary Placement worksheets via email from Human Resources over the next few weeks.

All newly hired licensed educators are placed on Certified/Licensed Salary Schedule except for the named Special Service Providers below.

Classified Employees
