Free Learning Academy Registration

Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm at Westminster High School

Parents of students in Adams County school districts are invited to a free, bilingual Parent Academy. The academy will focus on student success and will teach parents how to guide their child’s education, communicate with teachers, and access resources. The academy will be held on Nov. 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Westminster High School, 6933 Raleigh St, Westminster, CO 80030.

The Five Star District has 75 slots for parents with students attending any school in the district. The academy will provide free breakfast and lunch, childcare for kids 4-11 and a youth institute for students 12-18 featuring Su Teatro Cultural and Arts Center.  

Adams 12 Five Star Schools is joining with other districts including Adams 14, Adams 50, Mapleton, and the Colorado Statewide Parent Coalition and Migrant Education Program to provide this training. 

Radio host Rodolfo Cardenas will be the master of ceremonies at the event and moderator for the superintendent panel at lunch featuring Chris Gdowski, superintendent of the Five Star Schools.
