UPDATE | EVENT POSTPONED

The Building Healthy Communities: Understanding Youth Suicide forum on Wednesday, March 11 is postponed to a later date.

The forum is a collaborative effort between Adams 12 Five Star Schools, Broomfield Public Health and Environment, Children's Hospital, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Judi's House, Tri-County Health Department and others.

The nature of the event and important topic calls for each community partner to be fully present and engaged. Due to many of these groups now being unable to fully participate as they attend to health matters in their own community, we want to honor the time and commitment of all involved and host this event at a later time. This will allow full participation and comprehensive learning for all in attendance. In addition, the sensitivity of this topic prevents us from offering an online or video option in favor of in-person conversations and support.

For resources on the subject of understanding youth suicide, please visit our district website. If you need personal support for you or your child, please reach out to your school or community health partner.

We look forward to hosting this event at a yet-to-be-determined later date. As a confirmed attendee to the March 11 date, you will receive personal communication about future event information.

Thank you for your understanding as we seek to offer the most comprehensive supports for families and community members on this important topic in the right time and manner.
