Honoring Women's History Month

Throughout March, our Board of Education and the entire school district proudly joins the nation in celebrating Women’s History Month — a time to honor the achievements, leadership and lasting impact of women in our schools and communities.

Classrooms across the district are highlighting the contributions of influential women. Through special lessons, student projects and library displays, students are exploring how women have shaped history, advanced innovation and strengthened communities.

We also celebrate the remarkable women who serve our district every day  teachers, principals, support professionals, bus drivers and district leaders — who inspire students and help create welcoming, inclusive learning environments. Their dedication reflects our commitment to empowering every learner to reach their full potential.

The proclamation voted on by the board recognizes the district’s commitment to celebrating and recognizing the contributions of women and girls across our country, state and in our schools. You can click here to read it.

If you know of a school, student, or staff member doing something unique to honor Women's History Month, please consider sharing that story using this link so the district can highlight it on its website and social media platforms.
