Adams 12 Five Star Schools is thrilled to be hosting author Tom Phillips for a Q&A and book signing from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at the Educational Support Center at 1500 E. 128th Ave. in Thornton.

Phillips, who grew up in Grand Lake, Colorado, wrote the middle-grade book The Curious League of Detectives and Thieves: Egypt's Fire. The author uses his own personal experience with dyslexia and his deep passion for storytelling to write books that kids can enjoy on their own or in read-aloud settings.
