Five Star Board of Education Honors Pride Month

The Adams 12 Five Star Schools Board of Education voted to recognize Pride Month at its May 24 meeting. 

The proclamation recognizes the right of every child, regardless of gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation, to access a free public K-12 education. It also reiterated the district’s commitment to fostering supportive school environments as well as policies and practices that honor and respect LGBTQ+ students, staff and families.
