Key takeaways
Results from the Family-School Relationships Survey this year show that we continue to grow as a district in serving you and your children.

  • More families report a positive school climate. We are pleased to see a 7 percent increase in the "School Climate" category, which reflects positive perceptions of our school's social and learning environment. Growth in all areas indicates that families perceive a strong and respectful atmosphere, students enjoy coming to school, and respect among students, staff, and families is notably high. These positive results help us achieve our district-wide goal of fostering a positive climate and culture.
  • The District Environment category increased by 6 points since the last survey. We saw an 11 percent increase in families feeling more empowered to speak up and advocate for their students. Other notable areas of improvement with a 9 percent increase each include families feeling empowered to assist with their student’s learning and interacting with school and district leaders to provide vision and direction for schools and the district. • 47% of families said they feel students can easily get help if they're being bullied. This is an improvement of 3 percent from last year, and the district will continue to explore ways to provide clearer communication about support systems and how schools respond to bullying.
