A Custodian, a Father, and a Place of Belonging

A job became a community. A school became family. And a place to work became a place to belong. 

Meet Mr. Swiss, a beloved custodian, first-time parent, and proud member of our community. Now, his son is growing up in the same district he’s called home for the past twenty years.

Because sometimes, finding where you belong means finding a place where your whole family belongs, too.

This National Custodian Appreciation Day, we celebrate Mr. Swiss and all the people who make our schools feel like home.
