Arapahoe Ridge brings families together for school kickoff
Arapahoe Ridge Elementary kicked off the new school year with a colorful community celebration!
Teachers Katie Aliminos and Lindsay Peterson teamed up with their PTO to serve up ice cream sandwiches with all the toppings, while families decorated the playground black top with chalk art in every color of the rainbow. Parents, students, siblings, and staff came together to create beautiful artwork, share sweet treats, and connect with one another.
“What a wonderful way to get our community together! Everyone enjoyed the great weather and got to know both old and new community members," Principal Nikki Sirko shared. "We hope to continue this beautiful event and make it a new back-to-school tradition.”
The event was the perfect blend of sunshine, smiles and school spirit—what a way to start the year!
