Books and Breakfast creates a memorable moment

Woodglen’s Books and Breakfast event was a heartwarming celebration of literacy and community. One of the most memorable moments came from a special military guest, Dane Rudolph, stationed in Bahrain, who joined the event virtually to read aloud to his preschool daughter Eliyanah. The excitement on her face was unforgettable—she lit up with joy and pride as she saw her dad on the screen, sharing a story with her, her mother, and her classmates. It was a truly special moment that created lasting memories for her and reminded us all of the incredible impact of staying connected, even across the globe. His participation not only highlighted the strong bonds between families, even from afar, but also underscored the power of reading to bring people together. The event served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of early literacy and the supportive community that surrounds our young learners.
