Campus Supervisor demonstrates dedication

On April 17, our incredible Campus Supervisor, Elena Zuniga—affectionately known as Ms. Z—demonstrated the true meaning of dedication and care for our students. During lunch in the cafeteria, Ms. Z noticed a kindergarten student in distress and quickly realized the child was choking. Without hesitation, she sprang into action, administering the Heimlich maneuver and successfully clearing the student’s airway.

Thanks to her quick thinking, calm demeanor, and unwavering focus on student safety, Ms. Z helped save a life.

Every day, Ms. Z provides our school with more than just safety and supervision—she brings compassion, care, and a deep commitment to student success. We are incredibly grateful for her heroic actions and for the countless ways she supports our students and staff.
