Crossroads seventh grader Maximilian Greco took third place in the state Junior Bassmasters fishing tournament in early August.
He and his fishing partner, Tommy Richards, reeled in 12 pounds 5 ounces of bass to take third place. This earned them a spot at the National competition in Tennessee next summer.
This was Maximilian’s second year in the Junior Bassmasters. This year he also tied for first place at the first season tournament at Quincy Reservoir on May 18 and won all categories (biggest bass, smallest bass, and most bass) at the tournament at Swift Ponds on July 13.
