The Department of Equity and Engagement hosted a Family, School, Community Partnerships Summit for Principals and their Family Outreach Liaison(s) in September. This experience included a morning of learning, collaboration, and strategic planning. A panel of Adams 12 Five Star Schools parents and caregivers provided feedback about their experiences, giving real-time data for attendees to respond to. Participants engaged with the latest research on high-impact family engagement practices, exploring innovative ways to strengthen connections between schools and families. The summit provided invaluable opportunities for cross-school collaboration, where teams shared best practices and ideas, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose. With dedicated planning time, participants left energized and equipped with actionable strategies to enhance family-school partnerships, ensuring every student thrives in an inclusive and supportive environment.
