Future Educators recognized at special CDE event
Future Educator Honor Roll Celebrates Outstanding Teacher Candidates
On Wednesday, May 7, the Future Educator Honor Roll recognized the state’s top teacher candidates at a special ceremony held at the History Colorado Museum. Inspiring remarks were shared by distinguished speakers including Janet Damon, 2025 Colorado Teacher of the Year Dr. Susana Cordova (Colorado Department of Education), and Dr. Angie Paccione (Colorado Department of Higher Education).
Adams 12 was proud to celebrate three of its own alumni—Emily Dunn (Horizon), Ava Lark (Horizon), and Liryze Maury Tzue (Legacy)—who were honored for their excellence and commitment to the teaching profession.
