Horizon Unified Basketball fosters sense of community
- Empower
- Engage
Throughout the Unified Basketball season, Horizon High School has had the opportunity to not only play our school district teams but have also played teams from the Thornton Police Department and Adams 12 District Transportation Department. The amazing people from TPD and AD12 Transportation took the time to organize teams, get team 'uniforms', and play basketball games against the Horizon Unified Basketball team after putting in a full day's work. These games were truly special to the Horizon team, parents, and community members in attendance. This has become a yearly tradition for many years and is always something we look forward to. A HUGE 'thank you' to the amazing adults who take the time to volunteer to play and make these games so special. The caring hearts and focus on our students doesn't go unnoticed!!!! #NotAllHeroesWearCapes
