Instructional coaches present at CDE Equity event

Horizon High School instructional coaches, Lyanne Terada and Michael Machado, presented to Colorado educators at CDE's recent Equity & Excellence Conference. The HHS coaches shared their learning and reflection in a session called "From the Seat of Learning: Portraits of Our Students" where high school educators from Colorado engaged in the learning and applied it to their current schools. The learning specifically focused on four students' perspectives throughout a day of learning, concluding with an interview to share their learning feedback. How powerful to have our Five Star Educators sharing their learning with the larger system in Colorado! We are so proud to know that Michael and Lyanne made time to create this professional learning. Its impact reaches far beyond the walls of Adams 12 Five Star Schools and highlights our system's equity growth!
