Legacy Bolts land on U.S. Presidential Scholars Program

The U.S. Presidential Scholars program has announced their list of candidates for 2023. The candidates were selected from nearly 3.6 million students expected to graduate from U.S. high schools in the year 2023. Inclusion in the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program is one of the highest honors bestowed upon graduating high school seniors. Scholars are selected on the basis of superior academic and artistic achievements, leadership qualities, strong character and involvement in community and school activities. Adams 12 Five Star Schools is proud to announce that we have two students from the district on the list!

Legacy High School Seniors, Jack Bonneau and Jarrett Lobb have been named as candidates.

Here is what Bonneau had to say about his experience:

"It's an honor to be considered for such a prestigious program from the U.S. Department of Education and the White House. I'm privileged to represent Legacy High school and Adams 12 as one of 5,000 seniors nominated across the country."

Here is what Lobb had to say about his experience:

"I feel incredibly lucky and am so, so excited to have been nominated as an applicant for the Presidential Scholars Program. I've been very fortunate to have great teachers, family, and friends who have supported me throughout my educational career, and I hope to continue to push myself throughout whatever the future may hold."
