McElwain buddy classrooms let students collaborate
Each year at McElwain Elementary, we have buddy classrooms where fifth graders are paired with kindergartners. The fifth graders assist with academics, and many times the classes participate in joint social activities. It is a great program that benefits all students involved.
The photo at the top of the story shows students from Ms. Armstrong's 5th grade class working with students from Ms. Kalra's kindergarten class.
Special thanks to the McElwain Elementary community for submitting this Five Star Story.
