Mountain Range hosted 15th annual Empty Bowls
- Empower
- Engage
Mountain Range High School Ceramics students and our National Art Honor Society hosted our 15th Annual Empty Bowls event in February. The students create ceramics bowls to sell. Students can purchase bowls and the staff has a chili cook off to fill their bowls with yummy food. The bowl is kept as a reminder of all of the empty bowls in the world. The money raised is donated to The Food Bank of the Rockies.
The event builds community. Students learn about creating and selling art. They also see how their art can affect positive change in their world. The staff bonds over a good cause and great food.
