Pancake breakfast create community at Shadow Ridge
- Care
- Focus on Students
On March 14th Shadow Ridge held its 3rd annual pancake breakfast welcoming 250 5th graders and their teachers to the building. The event is planned by the counseling department each year and is designed to help reduce anxiety for our incoming 6th graders and to give them a warm welcome to the building. The band performed welcoming music as they entered the building and then performed additional music along with the choir to showcase our music program. Students heard about the different classes they will be taking and a little about expectations and what it will be like as a middle schooler. Students got to eat pancakes and sausage as they enjoyed the music and got excited for middle school with their friends!
